1. Ensure your laptop has one full-featured Type-C port(support display signal and power supply).
2. The external monitor just needs one cable to connect. The connection between Windows and MacOS is a little different.
For Windows: One USB-C cable connection, plug and play.
For macOS: USB-C Cable + Hub, driver needed. The driver installation process is simple, you can finish it within 30s.
3. If your laptop is without a full-feature Type-C port, we do not recommend that you use the screen extender. Please Note that the HDMI and USB-C connection can only light up one screen.
