The 2015 edition of the Razer Orochi Gaming Mouse from Razer is a versatile, ambidextrous gaming mouse for both work and play. Featuring dual connectivity, it can be used either wired with a USB connection or wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0. The Orochi also has textured rubber side grips for a better grip, and seven programmable buttons that can be configured via software.
Upgraded from its previous iteration, the 2015 edition now has an 8,200 dpi 4G laser sensor, Chroma lighting, and two replaceable AA batteries that can last up to 60 hours of continuous gaming, or 7 months of standard use. On a wireless connection the Orochi has a 125 Hz polling rate and an 8ms response time, but for gaming-grade performance, 1ms response time, control, and accuracy, switch to a wired connection. To get the most out of this mouse as well as adjust lighting and performance options, install Razer's Synapse software, which can be downloaded directly from Razer's website.
